Jean Rollin: Recent Interview Clip

I haven't noticed a lot of recent YouTube uploads related to Rollin but this is quite cool.

Here is Rollin and Ovidie being interviewed in a record store for my French speaking visitors:

Jean Rollin Home Video Designs: The Nude Vampire (High Resolution)

A very kind reader from France recently alerted me to this wonderful database he is involved with dedicated to preserving rare VHS box art from around the world. They have a huge Jean Rollin selection here and this reader has offered to supply me with some large scans to share with fellow Rollin fans. Here is the next batch featuring some various scans. Thanks so much to this very kind fan who, like me, is really wanting to preserve Rollin's legacy and I hope this and the upcoming posts of these prove pleasing!

The Hidden Cinema of Jean Rollin: Ne prends pas les poulets pour des pigeons (1985)

Here are some stills from the 1985 production Rollin shot under his Michel Gentil pseudonym, Ne prends pas les poulets pour des pigeons. There isn't a lot to say about the film. It's a rather silly comedic slapstick adventure from the mid-eighties that Rollin did for hire. Outside of a few familiar faces from Rollin's world (including Jean himself) there really isn't much that announces itself as a Jean Rollin work. Still, as I recently added it to my collection, I wouldn’t think of leaving it out here so I hope these rather fuzzy stills proves at least interesting.
