Good news for Jean Rollin fans here in the States and in Britain as Redemption's newest DVD version of
The Demoniacs is a winner. While not containing all of Encore's extras the new disc does contain the deleted scenes from that version, a stills gallery, the trailer and a sharp widescreen transfer that is the equal of Encore's disc (Encore's disc is slightly brighter but the difference is slight). Here are a few comparison screen shots to show how the two discs compare.

I am happy to report that Redemption's new disc is a terrific bargain and alternative for fans who don't have (or can't afford) the harder and harder to find Encore box set.

Good news. I'll look out for this one from my DVD rental firm. I'd still like the Encore set, but this does seem a decent alternative.Thanks for being thoughtful enough to post those screen caps. Good work!
